Competition for the conceptual architectural design of the Central University Library in Podgorica

The project envisions the Central University Library as an open and contemporary knowledge hub integrated within the urban fabric of Podgorica. A compact volume wrapped in a permeable copper-toned facade filters natural light while creating a subtle dialogue with the city. Flexible reading spaces, transparent interiors, and accessible public areas encourage interaction and learning, while green roof terraces introduce outdoor study spaces and enhance the building’s environmental performance.
